Hamburg revisited: my weekend in pictures

Last Friday I went on a adventure: I took the train to Hamburg!

After I arrived, I went to explore the Schanzenviertel for a little bit and then I met up with my new friends Linda and Hedwig (who I discovered is from… Amersfoort!) at the Christmas market at the Rathausmarkt:

The next day, after breakfast, I went to the flee market at the Schlachthof. There was a lot of really cool stuff there, but most of it was too big to take home with me, so I settled for a few buttons.

I had and early lunch at Herr Max and then went on to shop at the Weidenallee.

In the afternoon I took the U to the city centre. It was the first weekend of Advent and it was super crowded with people. It wasn’t the greatest place to be, but I scored a really nice advent calendar for Harold so I was happy nonetheless.

When I got tired I took the U back again and I watched the film ‘She-Devil’ (Nachsynchronisiert) while I waited for the time to turn 19.45…

At eight I got to meet up with the Mixed Media Circus girls (and one guy) at the R&B restaurant. Funny detail: It turned out that I had met one of them (Sara) at breakfast already!

On Sunday it was my turn to get messy and learn from the masters:

I had a blast! It was so good to meet all these creative people from around Europe, to see Nat and Julie in action and of course to create in the process!

If you ever get the chance to attend a workshop from these girls, you should take it. They rock big time!!!
