Hier is nog een lay-out die ik een tijdje terug voor Pien’s Atelier heb gemaakt. Op zo’n kille avond als vanavond lijkt de zomer wel heel ver weg… Ik heb zelfs de haard alweer aangedaan!

Paradise Fest | It’s almost time! Tomorrow is the first of my workshops @theparadisecorner! Yesterday I crossed two museums off my list and ran some errands. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ It was so weird to walk through the city on a mission, only glancing at the sights when I happened to pass them by. And, on my own! ⁠⠀ It didn’t seem real, but it was! This Saturday afternoon (5 October) we’re going to adopt an old book and make a couple of art journal pages in it. If you happen to be in Barcelona too, you can still join us. Paradise Fest | Here's a peek an example I made for the 'Power of Three' workshop at @theparadisecorner on Friday 4 October 2019.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ We're going to create a colourful mixed-media triptych using acrylic paint, ink, embossing powder, stencils, rubber/foam stamps and collage.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ It's not a workshop for the faint-hearted! It's all about letting go of perfection and trusting the creative process!⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ We're going to work on three panels at the same time and students will need to switch from going with the flow one moment to making swift decisions the next. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I've taught this workshop before and the results are stunning and mind-blowingly different for each student.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Want to join us? Paradise Fest | On Sunday 6 October 2019 I'm teaching a @gelliarts Gel Printing Workshop at @theparadisecorner in Barcelona.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ We’re going to create original prints from start to finish, combining all of my favourite gel printing tools and techniques. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Students will go home with a series of finished mixed media prints, ready to frame and display.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ There are still places available for this workshop, so if you'd like to join us, you can!⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Head over to @theparadisecorner to find out more! Paradise Fest | I've been awfully quiet here on my feed! That's because I'm teaching workshops at @theparadisecorner in Barcelona next week and... I'm in prep mode.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ So you probably already know that I love to work with cardboard boxes. The project we're going to make on Saturday morning (5 October 2019) is a 'Cardboard Picasso' with a touch of Gaudí thrown in.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ It's a variation on a project I created for @natkalbach's Creative JumpStart a couple of years ago. It's one of my favourite projects ever and the original lady is still on display in my craft space.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Want to join us?
