Sketchbook365 July Sketch Challenge

Back in March Liesbeth came to visit me on a Saturday. We just hung around, talked and talked (like we always do) and we played tourist in my city. We endured sun and snow, took a million photos (Liesbeth forced me to bring my DSLR) and drank way too many hot chocolates. It was a fun day!

I created this page for the Sketchbook365 July Sketch Challenge. Nearly all of the DT-members used Basic Grey collection packs for their creations. I used the Knee Highs Collection Pack for mine.

It’s fascinating and fun to see how some of the others not only used the same sketch, but also the same papers/stickers and still we all ended up with totally different pages in our individual styles. You can see for yourself at the Sketchbook365 blog!

I also found a way to try out my brand new WOW! Fab Foil and Bonding Powder on this page. I was lucky enough to win a packet last weekend during Art Fusion! I applied it to the Tando Creative Chipboard flourishes (Flourish 7), but you can also use it on stamped images and well… it’s just a really cool product!

  1. I love this! Such a cool layout!

And it was fun to see how different all the layouts are even though using the same sketch and even supplies!
