Hi! I’m over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today, sharing this scrapbook page!
Last week I met up with one of my friends for a long overdue catch up. It was one of the first spring-like days of the year and we were able to have coffee and lunch at a terrace in the sun.
We were chatting the day away, feeling very lucky for meeting on such a beautiful day and of course we had to take a selfie!
Here are the steps to create the page:
- Create patterned papers by spraying ink onto sheets of watercolour paper. Leave the papers to dry.
- Spray water onto the inside of an embossing folder and use this as a stamp. Remove the water from the paper with a paper towel.
- Cut the watercolour papers into strips. Adhere the strips onto a sheet of white cardstock. You can mix in a couple of embossed strips for added texture.
- Machine stitch the outline of the strips.
- Attach black thread behind the photo and adhere the photo to the page with foam tape.
- Adhere Double Sided Tape Sheet to a sheet of craft foam. Die cut letters and numbers from the sheet with the Alphabet 1 – Caps and Numbers & More 1 dies. You now have your own self adhesive foam alphabet!
- Add title to page.
- Run the Sea Glass die through your die-cut machine with white cardstock, adhere a couple of the pieces to the page.
- Add a couple of black peel-off stickers.
- Add journaling.
I hope you try stamping with your embossing folders. It’s a fun little technique that you can use not only on scrapbook pages, but also on cards and other projects!
Have a wonderful day!
