Creative JumpStart 2014 | On using household items to create art

Marsha Valk | Creative JumpStart 2014

I’ve created more videos than usual lately and it’s fun! It’s frustrating at times because my skills are a bit rusty and sometimes my equipment or my lack of routine throws me back. But I’m determined not to give up. Making videos is one of the goals I’ve set for myself this year and as long as I’m making progress on that goal… It’s all good!

Yesterday it occurred to me though that most of you probably haven’t seen the video I created for Creative JumpStart 2014. I was so proud of it and it was a huge hit among the Creative Jumpers.

So… I’m sharing it here with you today. Enjoy!

Are you ready to jump?!

I’m extremely happy to announce that I’ll be participating as a JumpStarter in Creative JumpStart (CJS) 2014, run by Nathalie Kalbach!

If you’re not familiar with CJS: it’s an AMAZING, one-of-a-kind community event to inspire your creativity.

I personally loved and very much enjoyed CJS events in the past and I can’t wait for it to start this January. During CJS you will learn new techniques, discover new materials and you will have the chance to connect with other Mixed Media Artists and Scrapbookers. It’s a lot of fun!

If you think you need help getting your creative mojo going in 2014, CJS is the way to go! Throughout January participants get 23 videos from 21 featured artists. I’m very, VERY proud to be one of those artists!

Head on over to Nathalie’s website to sign up. CJS costs just $20 for the 3.5 hours of video content. That’s less than $1 per video — it’s a great deal!

Before you go: here’s a short video with more details:

So join me and 20 other artists this January for Creative JumpStart 2014!!!
